The Japanese ambassador in Tunisia, Saito Jun, welcomed three volunteers from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to commence their missions in various educational and youth-related fields across several Tunisian governorates. This step is part of a historic partnership that has lasted for more than 50 years since JICA's activities began in Tunisia, during which it has funded infrastructure and water projects, including the Rades Bridge and the seawater desalination plant in Sfax. The ambassador emphasized the important role of the volunteers in strengthening friendship and cooperation between the Tunisian and Japanese peoples.
