New prohibition on students leaving schools
The Ministry of Education has begun implementing a decision to prevent students from leaving educational institutions during free periods and break times, in order to protect students from potential dangers such as cyber threats. This decision, which took effect today, Thursday, October 1, 2026, follows the issuance of memos to educational institutions and includes dedicating 10 minutes within the school hours for raising students' awareness about the risks and methods of prevention. The measure aims to strengthen the protection of students and the educational community from threats, especially in light of the increasing digital risks.
