Tunisia participated in the World Judo Championship held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, from October 4 to 10, 2026. The participation consisted of only one athlete, Oumaima Elbedoui, competing in the under 48 kg weight category, after other athletes withdrew due to injuries and personal circumstances. Elbedoui prepared through training camps in Tunisia and Germany, and she previously won a silver medal at the last Mediterranean Games. It is expected that her performance will depend on her physical and mental readiness, as well as the draw conducted prior to the competition. It is worth noting that the championship saw the participation of 627 athletes from 93 countries.
