Italian courts release Tunisian migrant
A judicial decision in Italy sparked widespread anger after releasing a Tunisian migrant involved in serious crimes, including stabbing a restaurant owner, just days after he was placed in a deportation center. The decision was based on the presence of a child from a relationship with an Italian woman, which prevents his deportation under parental care laws, despite his repeated criminal behavior and the security threat he poses. Authorities faced strong criticism for their deportation policies that allow the release of dangerous individuals, raising renewed debates about the weaknesses of Italy's border detention system and security procedures at the Italian borders.
