Women among casualties in Israeli raid west of Gaza
Israeli forces carried out an airstrike on a area west of Gaza City, resulting in the death of five Palestinians, including four women, and injuring more than five others, some critically. The strike targeted a residential apartment in the "Al-Asala" building near the United Nations roundabout, leading to the destruction of the ground and first floors and causing a large fire. The Israeli army has not issued an immediate statement. The airstrike comes amid ongoing escalation despite the ceasefire that was announced in October 2025.
