Water outages in 5 districts from Tuesday
The National Company for Water Exploitation and Distribution announced disruptions and interruptions in the supply of drinking water in several municipalities in Tunis, starting from Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 1:00 a.m., for a duration of 36 hours. This is due to the necessity of diverting a main distribution line that obstructs the construction work for the Marassi Flood Protection Project. Water distribution is expected to gradually resume on Wednesday afternoon. The company urges citizens and institutions to take the necessary water conservation precautions during this interruption period.
