British tanker attacked in Strait
A British tanker was attacked by an unidentified projectile in the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in damage to the vessel and injuries in the engine room, while the crew members remained safe. This incident occurs amid escalating tensions between Iran, the United States, and Israel, with Iran controlling the strait and obstructing navigation since February. Meanwhile, Washington continues to impose a naval blockade on Iranian ports. Despite repeated attacks on ships, recent weeks have seen a period of calm on the ground, and the United States has not taken any military action since early September.
