State Budget 2027 Aims for Growth and Revenue
The proposed State Budget Project for 2027 aims to continue improving economic growth and maintaining the stability of the dinar’s exchange rate, alongside controlling inflation. The project relies on assumptions that predict an increase in external demand, with global growth at 3.4%, and a revival of growth in the Eurozone to 1.2%. It also emphasizes increasing non-tax revenues, digitizing the tax system, and supporting public institutions and enterprises to enhance competitiveness and regional development, while committing to the timely repayment of public debt. Currently, the draft laws for the 2027 finance and budget laws are being prepared to be presented to the Council of Ministers before being submitted to Parliament by October 15.
