Water supply disruption in 6 districts from dawn tomorrow
The National Company for Water Exploitation and Distribution announces water supply interruptions and disruptions that will last for 36 hours starting at dawn on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The affected areas include several districts in Kemr, Carthage, Green, Halq al-Wadi, and Sakkra. This is due to the diversion of a main distribution channel to support the project of protecting the Mersa area from flooding, which temporarily halts water pumping. Tanker trucks will be dispatched to deliver water to sensitive facilities during the outage. Water supply is expected to gradually resume beginning Wednesday morning, October 7, 2026.
