Water outages in 5 municipalities begin today
The National Water Distribution and Exploitation Company announces disruptions and outages in potable water supply starting today, Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 1:00 a.m., lasting for 36 hours (3 days) in several districts, including La Marsa, Carthage, La Goulette, and Sousse. These disruptions are due to works to divert a main distribution pipeline that intersects with the ongoing flood protection projects in the La Marsa area. The work will continue around the clock, and water supply is expected to be gradually restored beginning Tuesday afternoon, October 7. Citizens and institutions are kindly advised to store enough water to meet their needs during this period.
