All ministries to adopt water-saving faucets
The Tunisian government has announced the 2027 budget plan, which focuses on water conservation through widespread use of water-efficient faucets and the construction of rainwater harvesting facilities in all ministries and institutions. This approach aims to strengthen water security, reduce resource wastage, and ensure the sustainability of water sources through sustainable solutions such as water desalination and reusing treated water. The project also includes improving water resource management and promoting efficient consumption, as well as enhancing energy policies to shift towards renewable energy sources and reduce dependence on fossil fuels, as part of a broader strategy to cut spending and achieve sustainable development in the country.
