Water service disrupted in districts for 3 days
The National Company for Water Exploitation and Distribution has announced disruptions and outages in the drinking water supply for a period of three days, starting from October 6, 2026, at 1:00 AM. These interruptions are due to works to divert a main distribution pipeline, which are necessary to continue the flood protection project in the Marsa area. Water distribution is expected to gradually resume beginning at 1:00 PM on October 7, with round-the-clock efforts to ensure a full recovery of the normal water supply. Citizens and institutions are urged to store water during this period.
