Jomin manages three fires
Members of the Benzert Local Forests Department and the Sijouan Civil Protection Team initially managed to gain control over three fires that broke out in the Tuwajniya, Shanana, and Qenzayia areas in Jomîn. These fires occurred due to unclear reasons and at nearly the same time. The fires resulted in the destruction of 16 olive trees, areas of plants and forests, as well as some beehives. Firefighting teams are currently continuing their efforts to cool down the affected areas, fearing a potential resurgence of the fires due to strong winds.
