Al-Mahdia schools in Swaysi suspended
On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, classes were suspended across all educational institutions in the Swaisi delegation of Mahdia Governorate, in protest against the unprecedented overcrowding in the classrooms at the Al-Etadek Secondary School on Charebban Road. A union official confirmed that the number of students in some classes exceeded 50 students. Despite the administration's intervention to reduce the number to 43, the figures remain high and do not comply with educational standards.
