Trump's initial remarks on France protests
U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the student protests taking place in France, criticizing what he called "out-of-control mass migration" and its alleged connection to Islam and the latter's desire to dominate France. He believed that the problem is not only in the schools but also in Islam's influence on the country, which was once great. These protests in France involve students, teachers, and parents, and have included clashes with security forces, who used tear gas. The protests mark an escalation of events that initially began in the suburbs of Paris and have since spread to other cities.
