Tunisia Telegraph: Nabil Maaloul's 219,000 Dinars Salary as Top-Paid Tunisian Coach
The article discusses the record-breaking figures achieved by Tunisian coach Nabil Maaloul in the Algerian coaching market, following his signing of a contract with CR Belouizdad with a monthly salary close to 219,000 euros (approximately 2.63 million Tunisian dinars annually), making him the highest-paid coach in the history of the Algerian league. This is accompanied by high costs for his technical staff, exceeding 336,000 dinars per month, including coaches and specialists from Tunisia as well as an Algerian goalkeeping coach. The numbers indicate that Algerian clubs are willing to spend significant amounts to attract top coaches, despite the fact that high salaries do not guarantee success, as proven by Maaloul's previous experience with USM Algiers. The figures reflect a vibrant financial movement in the Algerian sports market, with prominent Tunisian expertise evident in coaching the clubs.
