Tunisian Humanitarian Month Begins
To celebrate the seventy-first anniversary of the founding of the Tunisian Red Crescent, the organization launched the initiative "Tunis Humanitarian Month," which will last for a full month. The goal is to provide widespread humanitarian assistance across all the states of the Tunisian Republic. The activities began with 24 convoy missions transporting approximately 84 tons of aid, including used clothing, hygiene supplies, baby diapers, medical equipment, and bottled water. These aid shipments were directed to various beneficiaries such as care homes, hospitals, and vulnerable groups. Additionally, the program includes organizing 80 free training activities that will benefit over 18,000 citizens. These activities include sessions for municipal workers and guards, tree planting campaigns, and the establishment of first aid clubs in educational institutions, all aimed at spreading humanitarian values and promoting the human service to others.
