Prosecutors probe after youths expose cat to stray dog attack
The Public Prosecutor's Office in Kasserine has launched an investigation following a video circulating online that shows a young man exposing a pregnant cat to savage attacks by stray dogs. The National Guard authorities are currently working to identify the perpetrators and uncover the circumstances of the assault, which has sparked widespread outrage on social media and within animal welfare organizations. The lawyer confirmed that the suspects are currently released on bail and are expected to appear before the court soon, noting the lack of strict laws to protect animals from such brutal acts.
