A field day was organized in the Wihchi area of Beni Khaled, in coordination between the Fruit Flies Technical Center and the Regional Agricultural Development Agency. The event aimed to promote integrated pest management of fruit flies and reduce dependence on chemical pesticides. Approximately 50 technicians and farmers participated in the activity, during which awareness was raised about the importance of using traps to detect the presence of the fly, and guidance was provided on the use of the new biological pesticide supplied by the ministry to support ground control strategies. The program aims to improve fruit quality and promote the adoption of sound agricultural practices.
