Tunisie Telegraph Resilience Fleet Delays
The Tunis Primary Court sentenced activists Muzafar Ben Omar and Adel Ben Ghazi to six months in prison, with the sentence suspended, after their participation in a supportive march for the members of the "Stadium Fleet" detained on September 19th. The prosecution had issued detention orders for both of them before their appearance before the court, as part of judicial procedures related to protesting in solidarity with the Palestinian cause and breaking the Gaza blockade. The current rulings also include sentences against other participants in the same march, who were convicted of either suspended prison terms or fines. These judgments reflect the ongoing legal actions against activists involved in protests supporting Palestine's stance.
