Tunisian Family's Tragedy at Vienna Airport
A Tunisian family living through a tragedy was stranded at Vienna Airport after repeated disruptions and the cancellation of a flight to Tunisia, leaving them detained for over 24 hours with their deceased father's body (70 years old) at the airport. The family had planned to mourn and bury their father in his hometown according to his will, but repeated delays and the legal detention of the body prevented them from doing so, putting them in a difficult psychological and physical situation. In a related development, Tunisair flight (No. 642/643) was delayed for more than 30 hours, with the reasons for this delay remaining unclear, despite the airline providing accommodation for the affected passengers and preserving the body of the deceased.
