Libyan league match ends in 23 minutes
Al-Madina Club achieved a surprising victory over Al-Watan Club with a score of 2-0 in a match that lasted only 23 minutes. This outcome was driven by the difficult circumstances faced by the last-placed team due to its financial crisis, which prevented it from properly registering its new players. Al-Watan entered the match with only nine players and did not have a substitute bench, leading to the injury of three additional players during the game and resulting in an early termination of the match. The incident indicates a deep crisis facing Al-Watan that affects its ability to participate normally in the league, while Al-Madina’s match was their first of the season, played under exceptional conditions.
