RMA Sudanad plans for summer 2027 in Medenine
The CEO of "SONED" stated that the company is working on preparing a proactive plan for the summer of 2027 in the Medenine governorate. The plan includes drilling new wells, developing water infrastructure, expanding the use of smart meters, and providing generators to ensure continuous operation during power outages. The goal of the plan is to reduce the water deficit, which reached 12% last summer, and to improve water resource management—especially given the increased consumption during peak periods. Currently, the available resources are estimated at 127,000 cubic meters per day for 100,000 subscribers, with a focus on expansion and modernization in line with digital transformation and modern technologies.
