Tunisia coffin sent to Spain instead of Monastir
The incident of transporting a Tunisian body from France to Spain instead of Tunisia was a distressing event that sparked surprise among the family and mourners. The plane's route was unintentionally diverted, resulting in the coffin arriving in Malaga instead of its original destination near Monastir. The delay of the flight and the change in the body’s destination led to the funeral ceremony being postponed by one day. Approximately 3,000 people attended the waiting funeral procession. The responsible company apologized and confirmed that they are working to clarify the reasons for the mistake, but the final accountability has not yet been determined. Questions remain regarding the procedures and coordination between airlines and handling services that caused this confusion.
