The coastal guidance team of the National Guard in Sousse managed to thwart an attack attempt on the maritime border in the Bousficha area. The operation targeted a traditional wooden boat carrying a number of women, children, and infants, putting their lives at great risk. The guard stopped the illegal crossing after seizing the boat, the engine, a quantity of gasoline, as well as a motorcycle used for transporting people, a compass, and some cash. This operation is part of the National Guard's ongoing efforts to prevent smuggling and illegal migration, which pose a significant danger to the lives of those involved, especially since the boats used often lack the necessary safety conditions.
