Sfax Announces Olive Harvest Dates
The State of Sfax has prepared to open the olive harvesting season on November 4, 2026, which will continue until March 31, 2027, with the goal of collecting approximately 275,000 tons of olives and producing around 57,000 tons of olive oil. It is noted that the expected production for this season is about a quarter lower than the previous season, which recorded an output of 525,000 tons of olives and 100,000 tons of oil. These forecasts are part of the state's preparations to develop the olive sector and reduce the decline in production.
