Prime Minister's Office: Administrative Simplification 70% Complete
The Tunisian government is implementing a comprehensive program to streamline administrative procedures with the goal of reducing them by approximately 70% between 2025 and 2027. Over 2,250 administrative procedures have been identified, and about 70% of the implementation plan has been completed so far. The government is also moving towards digitizing around 80% of these procedures, either fully or partially, to improve the quality of services and facilitate access. Initiatives include establishing 68 new digital service centers by 2030, focusing on expanding the use of the national procedures platform that consolidates and simplifies services. Additionally, the government is adopting a "life events" approach to re-engineer procedures based on citizens' life milestones, enabling faster and easier completion of transactions through a unified platform.
