Tunisia: Gunfire at US mosque during funeral
A Shooting incident occurred near Al-Rahma Mosque in Columbus, Ohio, resulting in one person killed and another injured during a funeral ceremony inside the mosque on October 19, 2026. Police confirmed that the incident was not an attack on the mosque itself but was related to a dispute in a nearby residential complex. There is no evidence at this time to suggest a religious motive or that the worshippers were targeted. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the incident, while police exclude the possibility that the mosque was directly targeted in the attack.
