Ten Hag explains Ronaldo disagreement
Coach Erik ten Hag revealed that he excluded Cristiano Ronaldo from some matches during his training sessions at Manchester United due to his breaches of tactics and lack of physical readiness. He considered that Ronaldo let the team down and showed a lack of commitment to collective efforts. He also explained that the disagreements were regarding the player's fitness level and commitment, and while he respected Ronaldo, he had to make difficult decisions for the team's best interest. Ronaldo's contract with the club ended in November 2022, after which he joined Al Nassr Saudi Club, while Ten Hag left his position in October 2024.
