Club Africain addresses fans ahead of Mazembe
Al Ahly Club addresses its fans ahead of the match against Mazembe in the second leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, warning against the use of flares and fireworks, throwing objects, laser pointer use, acts of violence and hooliganism. The club emphasized that such behaviors could lead to financial penalties, absence of the fans, or the match being held at a neutral venue. The organization expressed the importance of fans bearing responsibility to preserve the club's image, as they are the source of its strength and support, especially after the team's 1-1 draw in the first leg as they strive to qualify for the group stage.
