Tunisian doctor questions her time
Dr. Lamia Qelal, Head of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department at Mahmoud Maatari Hospital in Ariana, expressed her dissatisfaction with the disposal of empty plastic bottles and other waste items into a small garden within the hospital, which has turned it into a dump site. She confirmed that such behaviors indicate a lack of respect among citizens for cleanliness rules and questioned the extent to which patients and visitors adhere to environmental preservation standards within healthcare facilities. She considered that this reflects a decline in awareness and a deficiency in shared responsibility for maintaining cleanliness in public spaces. She emphasized that respecting cleanliness is essential for improving the quality of healthcare services.
