State Budget 2027: Rental Costs 27.3B Dinars with 32,000 New Jobs
This article discusses the 2027 state budget project and details of leasing expenses, which amount to approximately 27.35 billion dinars—an increase of 8.2% compared to 2026. The rise is justified by increased employment, regularization of irregular employment statuses, and coverage of wage increases in the public sector. The budget allocates 39.7% of expenses to salaries, with the education, interior, defense, and health sectors being the main beneficiaries. The project also includes the creation of over 32,000 new recruitment posts, mostly focused on the education sector. Additionally, the proportion of the wage bill relative to GDP has been gradually decreasing since 2021, stabilizing at around 13.7% in 2027.
