Tunisie Telegraph Italy: 27-year-old Tunisian's body found near burned vehicle
Italian investigations into the death of young Tunisian Wissam Humaida (27 years old) near his burned car in the Lockoli area have revealed that the incident may have been a crime, following new evidence. The hypothesis of a criminal act is gaining strength, as it is suspected that someone poured a flammable substance and set fire to the vehicle, resulting in Wissam sustaining severe burns that led to his death after he tried to remove his clothing, which had caught fire. His body was found in the early morning on a slope, and examinations showed that the lower part of his body suffered burns covering approximately 30 percent. Police are also considering the possibility that the fire was deliberate, but the investigation is still ongoing to determine ultimate responsibility. Wissam Humaida was known for his good reputation during his life, and Italian authorities continue their inquiries to uncover the circumstances of the incident and to ascertain whether there was a criminal motive.
