Fires Reported in Hormuz
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said Thursday that two oil tankers and a tugboat caught fire after using routes it described as unauthorized in the Strait of Hormuz. It said one tanker struck a sea mine south of the strait, while another caught fire after veering off course. The tugboat that approached to assist it then also caught fire. The US side did not immediately comment on the Iranian statement.
