Bomb threats at EU airports
Bomb threats on Thursday morning prompted the diversion and emergency landing of several aircraft in Europe, including flights in Belgium, the Czech Republic, Italy and Bulgaria. An Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Rome landed safely in France. No explosives were found aboard the four planes that landed in Prague, while three planes made emergency landings in Bulgaria. The incidents followed similar threats on Tuesday targeting at least seven flights and a cruise ship. Experts said they could be part of low-cost disruption operations.
