Britain detains suspect in Fairford case
The British police announced the arrest of a 22-year-old British man in London on suspicion of planning to carry out terrorist activities near the Fairford Air Force Base, which is used by American forces. The arrest follows an incident on September 27 involving suspicious vehicles near the base. The man remains in custody. This investigation comes after the United States withdrew its bombers from the base, amidst ongoing inquiries involving six other men who have been released on bail.
