Al Ahli Youth secures first ADIB Cup win
Shabab Al Ahli team defeated United 2-1 in the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, marking their first victory in the tournament after previously drawing with Hatta and Al Nasr. The Emirati team’s goals were scored by Mohammed Juma Al Mansouri and Bruno Caskardo Lemos, while the only goal for United was netted by Mahdi Mowahib. United’s coach commented that the main reason for the loss was the inability of his players to make the right decisions to capitalize on opportunities, despite the strong performance and the team creating numerous chances. Shabab Al Ahli raised their points tally to 5, achieving their first win after two previous losses, while United now has 3 points.
