Four astronauts land after 8 months in space
Four astronauts who spent eight months aboard the International Space Station have returned to Earth. Their capsule landed in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California after a journey of more than 27 hours, aboard NASA's "Dragon" spacecraft. The four crew members—American Jessika Mer, American Jack Hathaway, French Sophie Adonu, and Russian Andrei Vedeev—underwent initial medical examinations aboard the vessel before being transferred to Houston. The "Crew-12" mission is among the most prominent current space missions, especially with the anticipated decommissioning of the International Space Station by 2030. This mission also marked the first spaceflight for a French astronaut to assist in station repairs.
