UAE Acts Quickly to Support Paraguay Storm Victims
The United Arab Emirates promptly responded to provide humanitarian assistance to the victims of the severe thunderstorms that struck the Republic of Paraguay, causing damage to homes and facilities. These aid efforts come based on the directives of the Head of State, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, as part of the UAE's humanitarian approach and its commitment to support countries affected by natural disasters, especially in light of the repercussions of the El Niño phenomenon. Agency teams are coordinating with the local embassy and international organizations to identify priority needs and swiftly and effectively direct aid to the most affected families.
