Al-Qadsiah leads Saudi League
Al-Qadsiah team claimed the top spot in the Saudi league after a 2-1 victory over Abha in the ninth round, bringing their total to 22 points and surpassing Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr. For Al-Qadsiah, the goals were scored by Mathéo Rittenagy and Mohamed Abu Al-Shamat, while Abha's goal came in the final minute. Al-Qadsiah's coach, Brendan Rodgers, confirmed that the team performed strongly and deserved the lead, pointing out the opponent's strange tactics and player changes. Abha’s ongoing problem is their decline in the standings, as they currently sit at the bottom with just one point from 8 matches, plagued by weak defense and a decline in overall performance.
