Abu Dhabi Environment Launches Wildlife Network
The Environment Authority in Abu Dhabi has launched the "Abu Dhabi Wildlife Rescue Network" with the goal of enhancing response speed and coordinating efforts to protect endangered animals. This is achieved through an integrated digital system that receives reports, mobilizes field teams, and carries out rescue and rehabilitation operations for animals such as sea turtles, marine snakes, and dolphins. The network emphasizes collaboration among relevant authorities and the exchange of scientific expertise. Its aim is to improve the chances of animal recovery and safe release into their natural habitats, while supporting scientific research, monitoring mortality cases and environmental threats, and promoting community participation and continuous training for rescue teams.
