Resort fire in Bangladesh causes 10 deaths
Ten people have died and others injured in a fire that broke out at a three-story wooden resort near Inani Beach in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, a popular tourist destination. The fire sparked widespread outrage due to the resort's lack of fire safety permits. Authorities have formed a five-member investigation committee to determine the causes of the fire, amid concerns about regulatory failures in tourism safety standards in the region.
