Sharjah Islamic Foundation Opens Prophet Moses Mosque

The Islamic Affairs Department in Sharjah has inaugurated the Prophet Moses Mosque (peace be upon him) in the Shiis area, making it the fourth mosque in the region. This comes as part of a plan for 2026 to meet the needs of worshippers and keep pace with the urban and tourism development in the area. The mosque aims to provide a suitable spiritual environment amid the increasing number of visitors and local residents. It also reflects Sharjah's efforts in developing religious facilities and supporting the community. Officials praise the leadership’s efforts in fulfilling residents’ aspirations and in enhancing the region’s tourism and heritage status.
