His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, honored 12 students from schools in the Chinese city of Guangzhou who won a drawing competition titled "Ras Al Khaimah.. Where the Mountains Meet the Sea." Through their artworks, the students expressed their vision of the emirate, showcasing its natural and cultural landmarks, such as mountains, the sea, castles, sailing ships, and the desert—reflecting the magic of its natural beauty and the identity of Ras Al Khaimah. This recognition comes as part of His Highness's visit to Guangzhou to strengthen cultural ties between the UAE and China, highlighting the role of art in bringing peoples together and fostering friendships among the younger generations. The competition was part of a cultural exchange program aimed at enhancing humanitarian and cultural bonds between the two countries.
