Reports indicate that Iran is skeptical about the United States' intention to divide responsibilities and reaffirms its commitment to its allies and its missile program, amid discussions regarding potential understandings to de-escalate tensions in the region. Iran also warned that the new routes announced for crossing the Strait of Hormuz, which were announced without coordinating with Tehran, remain dangerous, as shipping through the strait continues following the lifting of the American blockade. These developments coincide with international efforts to reduce tensions, despite ongoing disagreements over the management of the strait and Iran's rights in it.
