Trump and senator dispute Iran deal

President Donald Trump and Republican Senator Bill Cassidy engaged in a heated argument during a closed-door meeting, where Cassidy demanded more clarity about a deal signed last week with Iran, which did not achieve the objectives set by Trump at the start of the war against Iran. This comes amid rising tensions within the Republican Party after the Senate passed a resolution to limit Trump's powers in conducting a war against Iran. Reports described this move as infuriating the U.S. president, who publicly attacked the opposing senators on his platform. Additionally, the Trump administration requested Congress to allocate billions of dollars to fund the war with Tehran, amid a partial shift in the Republicans' stance.
