UN agency stops Hormuz evacuation after attack

The International Maritime Organization has temporarily suspended evacuation operations in the Strait of Hormuz and its surrounding areas following an attack on a vessel in the Gulf of Oman, in order to ensure the safety of ships and sailors in the region. This comes after an earlier decision to evacuate over 11,000 sailors, with current efforts focused on assessing the security situation and implementing strict monitoring measures to prevent further incidents.
