Fance and Rubio's conflicting remarks
J.D. Vance and Marco Rubio are considered potential candidates for the 2028 U.S. presidential election, and they express differing perspectives on the Republican Party's foreign policy. Vance, who visited Iran for discussions, expressed optimism about the negotiations with Tehran and called for greater cooperation with Iran in reconstruction efforts. Meanwhile, Rubio, who traveled to the Gulf countries, emphasized that any agreement with Iran must be strict and serve U.S. interests, including his commitment not to seek financing for Iran's reconstruction from allies. Despite their differing stances, the White House affirmed that everyone stands together behind President Trump's policy of preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
