UAE grants new entry visas to six nationalities
The United Arab Emirates announced updates to its visa system, which now allow citizens of six countries—South Africa, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Kenya—to obtain a visa on arrival for durations of either 14 or 60 days. Applicants must hold a regular passport and possess a valid residence permit in one of the specified countries. The 14-day visa can be renewed once for an additional 14 days, while the 60-day visa expires at the end of its validity without renewal. These new measures aim to facilitate travel and boost tourism and investment in the UAE.
