Adnan Al-Jumailis Final Testimonies in Iraq
Adnan Al-Jumili's case in Iraq reveals the seizure of large sums of money exceeding 67 billion Iraqi dinars and 1 million dollars found inside the homes of individuals connected to the accused. This is part of investigations into a widespread corruption scandal. The investigations have resulted in the arrest of prominent officials, including the former governor of Salah al-Din and the current director of the province’s health department. Confessions were obtained, and the relevant authorities continue to pursue other high-ranking individuals. These measures come after significant pressure from the United States, which issued reports about an extensive corruption network within state institutions.
